Hi, there,
I was wondering what this antique Chinese wooden carving would be valued at, approximately. Our family something very similar except that I think it has more carvings in the background.
Cheers,

PS:
Actually, thinking on it, I think it just has a dark wooden background.

I was hoping in finding out where I can go to figure out the origin of my families asian wood statues. They are made out of wood and covered with a white glaze of some sort.We have a whole collection of them and inherited them from my mothers old friend…..He collected art from around the world to display in one of the hotels that he owned. Please help with any web sites I may contact to get an answer.Thank you.I have pictures to post if needed.

I also have a very similar carving to the one above. It was bought in Hong Kong in the mid 1960’s. I would love to find out more about it myself. If anyone has any info or insight, post a message on here and i will contact you.
