The Tang Dynasty was one of many richest and most opulent durations of all Chinese language history. Every facet of art was flourishing. Painting, pottery, calligraphy, sculpture, music, dance and literature all, equally, had been receiving nice attention.
All the arts prospered throughout the Tang Dynasty. As has already been discussed, bronze, jade, pottery, stone carvings and the like, had each flourished throughout the Tang Dynasty.
So, too, had been the performing arts akin to dancing, singing, musicians of all kinds, and actors, all of celeb status.
There have been schools for the performing and practical arts springing up everywhere. Even on the grounds of the Imperial Palace one may discover a music school. These faculties had been devoted to the total time practice of dancing, singing, appearing, music and other performing arts. More on Tang Dynasty Porcelain

I didn’t realize that cast ironwork was done in China and it’s interesting that they did it before it was done in Europe. Another example of cast ironwork can be found in front of the Yue Fei Tomb in Hangzhou. Cast Iron figures were made of those that were responsible for Yue Fei’s death in order for visitors to beat and spit on them.

In Chinese astrology, each person is associated with an animal sign. These signs represent what other people perceive you as being or how you present yourself to others.
The twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac (rat, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, serpent, horse, sheep, monkey, cock, dog, and pig) are well-known symbols associated with forecasting people’s futures and determining their character. By the century B.C., they were well established in Chinese thought; the earliest depictions appear in ceiling paintings from a tomb dated 533. During the Tang dynasty, pottery representations of these symbols were placed in tombs, reflecting the fascination with divination and astrology.

Exactly, I agree with you. Also, a lot of people think modernisation is westernisation. It You can still modernise and progress as a society yet restore and retain your traditional culture at the same time. The qipao and tangzhuang is ugly yes. Hanfu is way better.
Music is western, national anthem uses western instruments, clothing is western, architecture is western, etc. So sad, we need to reintegrate traditional chinese culture back to the modern age.

Recently we’ve heard of filmmakers like Doug Liman and James Cameron working on projects in China, and it looks like another one will enter the mix as well. THR Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) is set to helm a biopic on legendary Tang Dynasty imperial concubine Yang Guifei. The Xi’an Qujiang Film & TV Investment Group revealed the news over the weekend with an eye for production to begin in China later this year. The production company says, "It’s a big subject, well known in Chinese circles around the world. With director Antoine Fuqua at the helm, we’re hoping to bring this story on to the international stage." The film is still untitled but will focus on the tragic love story between imperial Yang, one of the four famed beauties of ancient China, and 8th century Emperor Xuanzong, the longest reigning monarch of the Tang Dynasty, who …

I never stated that ancient Chinese soldiers were weak. You stated that yourself not me. But at the same time, you, based on your writings, assume every conflict between China and Japan left to Chinese victory. In the Imjin war, the Chinese had substantial assistence from the Koreans, who had already won battles against the Japanese even before they arrived. You, as a Chinese, just hate the idea of a Japanese being assumed to be any more then your equal. You views arent logical.

Mediocrity has nothing to recommend it, and it makes up 84 percent of human existence. Of the remaining bits, 12 percent goes to the outright unredeemable tragic things. Two percent makes up the truly excellent stuff. The Grand Canyon, the Nicholas Brothers, puppy breath, Chopin’s Nocturne in C Sharp Minor, making out with someone you really, really want to make out with, the Sedlec Ossuary, and splendid root beer floats. We wade through the daily mediocrity, the traffic lights and disappointing carrot cake, sustained by the hope of catching the fragrance of jasmine on a moonlight stroll as we recall Tang Dynasty poetry, or Drunken Master 2, knowing full well much of every day is nothing but dumpster chutney. [Mrifk!] And the last two percent? A special category: The horrible excellent. (Not to be confused with the horrid horrid or near-excellent excellence…okay, I confess, I dont know what that means. I just wanted to link to Shari Elf). The requirement for horrible excellence is…

korean and black relationship in america is basically “hurry up and buy!” and the whole LA riots….like i said, extremely rare to see koreans, chinese and viets socializing with blacks. i usually see blacks picking on and beating them up sometimes but thats basically it.
do a youtube search of “south philly high/black asian violence” its mainly vietnamese students getting their asses kicked but most people dont realize cambodian/white students were also involved in the attack…..hehe

Mostly this is because I am using an excellent brush made by the famous Li Fushou ???. Li made an improvement of brushes in the early 20th century when he made many brushes that can be used for both Chinese painting and calligraphy – he earned a high reputation for that. I got this one from site.

You love criticizing Falun Gong, the Epoch Times, and defend the CCP. This is your choice, and no one can take this away from you. All I ask, for you to back up your rhetoric, because it really Discredits your facts, as you have no Proven and Grounded evidence of your claims. I have given you many credible resources, heck I have an entire Channel devoted to this Issue, and you?
You talk and talk and talk and spit claims, BUT NO SOURCES? NO VIDEOS? NO Not even Reliable Leaders?

i think china and japan deserve no island, cause both countries do bad things. china had arrest a person that won a Nobel peace prize and killing religious Tibetan . japan something wrong too, they kill many people during world war 2, especially the attack on pearl harbor. i think the diaoyu island senkaku should be destroyed then peace will finally come.

"Spirituality is a lifelong pursuit. You don’t reach a quick epiphany, get struck enlightened, and suddenly arrive. As Stephen Mitchell writes, at times spiritual transformation can be like “cleaning the with a piece of steel wool,” with clarity always the goal. While reading his book The Gospel According to Jesus, I was especially impressed by the story of the spiritual journey of Chao-Chou, a Zen monk from the T’ang Dynasty. Achieving enlightenment when only seventeen years old, he still chose to remain with his teacher for another years.

Spanning an area of about 165 acres, Tang Paradise is a large cultural theme park located in Xi’an, a city in China’s Shaanxi province. The park was built in 2005, near what was once a garden complex dating to the Tang Dynasty. The park incorporates various aspects of Chinese architecture, with cornices and eaves featuring prominently. The complex includes several gardens, buildings and squares, and is one of several modern day reconstructions of historical sites in Shaanxi. The park is not meant to be an exact replica and features several anachronisms, such as the presence of long stretches of concrete. Tang Paradise is situated adjacent to a lake, the setting like something one would find in a traditional Chinese landscape. Lined with w …Tang Paradise, Xi’an Accommodation in Xian
